You have been in charge for two years and got the players you want so it’s time for some results MJ. Word is that you don’t care and for the last two years you schedule games in Superbowls Cities because everyone’s know MJ does not miss Superbowl weekend. It’s time for team unity Micheal Jordan and to be honest it’s start with you!!
Larry LB Brown Back To His Old Ways!!
Larry Larry word is that you want to overhaul your roster because you don’t like the players you have. Wow this is a redundant theme you have Sir. You tried to under mind one best GM’s in game Joe Dumars with the Pistons and meet your fate. The crusade continued with the Knicks and Isiah Thomas and last but not least you drag your destructive behavior into the struggling Charlotte Franchise. If MJ and Rod Higgins had any BALLS they would have drafted Brook Lopez with 9th pick the player that you guy’s needed. So you draft a midget point gaurd because you’re not happy Felton Spencer who is still a good up and coming player that can still produce. In my opinion that was a bad move GM Brown!!

Bob Johnson made history when he became the first African-American majority owner of a sports franchise,but over the last couple years it has not been a great ride for the Franchise or Mr. Johnson. The Team owner has lost tens and millions of dollars and people around the NBA have said he was shopping the team around. Insiders feel Bob Johnson has lost touch with his team and feel that he no clue on how to run an NBA franchise. My Basketball Jones
Hello Basketball Fans it’s your boy Basketball Tee and I’m so happy that basketball season is about to start. Since the last basketball game of the Olympics I have been in somewhat of a withdrawal from basketball. I was in some serious pain for some real live action, but I only re-runs on ESPN Classic watching Magic and Bird beat up on each other. My Jones is back October is here and that means pre-seasons basketball and happy until the season starts!!
FC Barcelona
This past weekend FC Barcelona was here in the US playing games against the Lakers,Clippers and Raptors. The games were great very competitive. I must say Spain has some real good basketball over there. Hell we don’t even need to look that far they have players in NBA now with the Gasol brothers Jose Calderon of Raptors. FC Barcelona has sent many players from their organization to play in the NBA.
The Greg Oden Report
Slowly but steady Greg Oden is getting his play legs back and is looking so far in the preseason and he is still my pick for the rookie of year (ROY). Greg will add much needed defense for the Portland Trail Blazers in the paint and rebounding. I feel he’s going to give the Portland fans a treat this season with a playoff berth.

America Still Has The Best Basketball Players
Hands down the best talent is still in America, but I have noticed since the 1996 Olympics the NBA gives some unheard of guy a shot to be in the NBA. After 96 Olympics the Timberwolves sign Shane Heal he did not pan out the Sixers sign Mark Bradkte big stiff mind both players from Australia buy never showed any promise after they’re showing in the 96 Olympics.
The 7 Footer From Iran
I guess you can say NBA scouts were not allowed to go scout in Iran even though this week teams in the NBA were cleared to court this guy Hamed Ehadadi from Iran. Hamed Ehadadihe average 16.o points and 10.o rebounds in Olympic play I guess that’s enough. Yes he’s 7′2 and saying goes you can’t teach height and you can’t teach speed either and that’s something he does not have,but time will tell on this one. I’m not writing this to complain,but when the NBA signs all theses novelty players that don’t pan out I want them to remember that we have a vast talent pool right here in America because we still have the best players.
Will The Rest Of World Catch Up With America
When comes to the rest of the world and the game of basketball I still think the rest of the world still has a long way to go. Every team that was in the Olympics did not want to run with Team USA. The rest of the world is not athletic enough to keep up. I don’t this to brag or boast but it’s just true facts. You all might say well what happen over the last 8 years. Well the last eight years I can say coaching and lack of respect for the rest of talent in the world. Back in o4 LB did not play his big three James,Anthony and Wade. I can also say make shift teams of players that used it to keep in shape. I’m talking from a fan point of view on this one and that’s what I saw. I can honestly say with the showing in this past Olympic games it not be any lack luster play anymore. I don’t have this attitude that we suppose to win, but I fill when you do play in the Olympics you play for pride of Country and that’s what this group has learned and I think the future teams will follow suite.
The Core Group Say They Want Back in 2012 Olympics In London
Reports out of Team USA camp stated that some players want to be back for 2012 olympics in London. Jerry Calangelo when the time comes they will talk ,but for right now he wanted to celebrate this victory and saver the moment. The Team will be good no matter who they put together. I must say at the begining of the Olympics I was little nervous after pool play. Once they knock off Australia it was no worries mate America this in the bag. The Black Mamba Came Up Big Down The Stretch
Kobe Bryant led Team USA to victory at the end of game with pure guts and skill. It was classic Kobe hitting shots down the stretch to put Spain and to Rudy Fernandez out of the game to complete a four point play. Without Kobe I really don’t think team USA would have won the game, but must say key rebounds by Leborn James and Spain loosing it cool push the US over the top.
Gold Medal Mission Complete
Team USA came to China on a mission to complete what had eluded USA basketball for eith years. I think the name of Redeem is a understatement. The United States will always have the most talented players, but they don’t grow up dreaming about winning Olympic Gold they grow up wanting to win a NBA championship. Luis Scola was quoted “The Americans have learned how to Play FIBA brand of Basketball”. The keyword Learned. Team USA had to learn how to play a different style of basketball. The international game is physical they play a Detroit Pistons Bad Boy style ball. Team USA KEPT THEIR PROMISE WIN THE GOLD.
Did Team USA Almost Blow It In The Gold Medal Game
People might say Team USA might have also most blew the game, but I beg to differ. Championship games or the last game is the hardest to play. Spain had seven NBA players on their roster going against other NBA players. The US knew it was going to be a tough game. Navarro,Gasol ,Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio faught hard for Spain and wanted to prove why they were World champs two years ago. I give Spain credit they proved that the 33 point blow out in pool play was not going to happen and gave the world a great show of how basketball should be played against the Americans. So to summarize my statement did Team USA almost blow it no they did not Spain is a really good international team that went out fighting to the end.
The Future Of USA Basketball
I have a question what will USA Basketball be like in the future and are we the King in basketball again. Some will say yes and some will say the rest of worl is still catching up. No matter what your answer was to my question the US will still dominate with the right leadership. Jerry Calangelo and Coach K kept these MEGA Millionaires ego’s in check and has set a new standard for USA Basketball. The future is bright for our men’s senior Basketball program. This will not be a trend and this group of young men has proven that the new generation of NBA players can go out and win the Gold Medal with class and substances.
