Hello Basketball Fans it’s your boy Basketball Tee and I’m so happy that basketball season is about to start. Since the last basketball game of the Olympics I have been in somewhat of a withdrawal from basketball. I was in some serious pain for some real live action, but I only re-runs on ESPN Classic watching Magic and Bird beat up on each other. My Jones is back October is here and that means pre-seasons basketball and happy until the season starts!!
FC Barcelona
This past weekend FC Barcelona was here in the US playing games against the Lakers,Clippers and Raptors. The games were great very competitive. I must say Spain has some real good basketball over there. Hell we don’t even need to look that far they have players in NBA now with the Gasol brothers Jose Calderon of Raptors. FC Barcelona has sent many players from their organization to play in the NBA.
The Greg Oden Report
Slowly but steady Greg Oden is getting his play legs back and is looking so far in the preseason and he is still my pick for the rookie of year (ROY). Greg will add much needed defense for the Portland Trail Blazers in the paint and rebounding. I feel he’s going to give the Portland fans a treat this season with a playoff berth.

NBA Honors Wilts Sexual Record
Hey Basketball Junkies I came across an article on CBS Sports website today that the NBA will be honoring Wilt Chamberlain sexual poweress as an record in the NBA. Many believe that Wilt reached that magical he claims to have reached. One teammate even stated that the night he scored 100 points was actually not ture and final stat was 125 if you know what I mean. The Gold Medal Run!
Yes Yes Team USA won the gold medal and renewed respect to the NBA players involved and to USA Basketball. The bigger picture is that some NBA teams are not happy with franchise players or key role players playing in internationally during the summer. This year was good for USA basketball, but Argentina and the San Antonio Spurs are not that happy right. Ginobili got hurt in the semi-final game against the team USA. That same ankle injury kept Ginobili out of Spurs playoff run against the Lakers. So the questions are on-going is international play to costly for NBA players and their teams success.

Hello everyone and thank you for reading this post. If you’re a basketball junkie like me you can’t wait until the season starts. I know we just finished the Olympics with the United States winning Gold, but that was just a quick fix. You might say well what about the WNBA my answer that is it’s not the same. Don’t get me I have much respect for the ladies,but nothing like seeing Big Dwight Howard slamming on someones head or Ray Busting a three in another guy’s eye to win the game.
ESPN CLASSIC IS NOT ENOUGH!
I tried watching all the games I have seen before on the classic channels and all my Basketball DVDs of highlights and the feeling is just not there. I love the excitement of a live game or a new season I miss that drama. I miss watching NBATV and TNT with Ernie,Kenny and Chuck with their corny jokes and great commentary of game. Please let the season start today, but it’s not October yet all the Superstars and rookies are resting up and tuning up for the season.

According to numorous media reports Spain’s most popular basketball player Pau Gasol said his team did not mean any harm when they did a photo shoot for a sponsor in in Spain prior to Olympics. Gasol apologizes if they affended anyone, but on to say that was what the sponsor what them to do.
