Darius Miles is back but has sit to for abusing the NBA drug policy rules for a banned substance. I want to hear from the basketball junkies will he be capable of helping the Celtics. I personally feel the big three has had their run and the Detroit Pistons will inject their youth down the stretch and will be back in the NBA finals.

Tough Start Becomes A Blow Out
Team USA managed yet another blow out to send the Aussies home. The first half was tight for the first 19:56. Deron Williams last second three at the end of the first extend the Team USA lead from nine to ten going into second half. Defense also help them turned Australia mistakes into points with a smaller line up on the floor to disrupt the Aussies.
Second Half Shooting Turn Around!
Team USA did not shoot so well in first but came out with back to back threes from Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony to extend the lead to eighteen. By the end of the third quater the US had went on a 34-18 run in the third quater.
Unmatched Defensive Effort
The focused defensive effort was no match for the Australians. They did not score the first five minutes of the third. The Australians also lost Andrew Bogut, but it did not matter anyway because he was basically a non-factor in the game with early foul trouble and could not the speed of Dwight Howard and the other bigs of the US team.
Redeem Team or Pride Team
Team USA has shown tremendous pride throughout this whole Olympic experience. They have also shown pride for the other Olympic USA athletes. This group has matured over the last three years and they are not only becoming the basketball player that we knew they will become, but they have grown as men in the process. I give Jerry Calangelo and Coach K a lot of credit to molding this team into a true team to restore the pride of American Basketball and that’s why I see no one beating them. Sunday should be a delight for American basketball fan. You might say I’m premature in my statements, but the focus this team has shown the world give evidence that they will not be stopped. Once again the staff at Basketball DVDS Blog were happy to see that Team USA continues to be dominate. Team USA got off to a quick dominate start in first quater and after that it bassically no contest. The medal rounds start and yet another test is ahead for Team USA with the Aussies.
Team USA (Redeem TEAM) is looking 8-0 to the road for Gold. Coach K stated it’s one and done or “like game seven of the playoffs,”. Coach is use to one and odne situation the three time NCAA championship will have these guys ready to go with laser targeted focus.
Team USA has bulldozed its opponents by an average of 32.2 points, memories of the dominance the original Dream Team showed during the 1992 Olympics. Their defense has been great, Team USA is forcing 22.8 turnovers a game plus shooting a blistering (36% from three-point range) has gradually improved. Though barely tested in pool play, Team USA has also stayed focus.
Big Dwight Howard had his best game of the Oplympics with 22 points and the most points scored by a Team USA player in these Oplympics. King James added an exciting 18 points that seemed like 30. Overall good team shooting and defense. D Wade stated “If we continue to play defense the way we are and continue to move the ball, it’s going to be tough to beat us,”.
