Are the Detroit Pistons loosing their luster for the game. Are they to old up front and what about the new backcourt duo of Richard Hamilton and Allen Iverson are they really getting along. These are just couple questions that I’m pondering about are they unit that Joe Dumars envisoined of winning all this year.

I’m Just a fan and I really want the The Detroit Pistons to do well this year,but from the looks it seems that it’s going to be a long season. I thought they were gelling really well during the west coast trip and then took two steps backwards the last couple of games.
Allen Iverson
What Allen Iverson really brought to the Detroit Pistons to do. I still think he’s to overbearing with ball most reports still say they have not practice enough together well my two cents is this he’s been the league for 13 seasons he should know what the do. I think Allen Iverson is still stuck in 1996 still trying to prove himself as NBA worthy. I guess I’m having a Chauncey Billups withdrawal he’s with Denver so I guess I have to get over it. What ’s up you basketball junkies did see Brandon Roy Game Winner Last Night And What’s Up With Stephon Marbury wanting to practice with his high school team and then went back on his comments today.
The Boston Celtics fans waited for 22 years to see another championship banner raised to rafters at Boston Garden. The night started off with great emotions from the Boston Celtics 10 year veteran Paul Pierce during the ring ceremony teary eyed Pierce thanked the fans for their support. The Cletics dominated the game the whole and proved why they will contend for the championship again. Paul Pierce ended the game with 27pts. 3 reb. and 4 ast. Lebron James ended the game with 22 pts. 7 reb. in Cavs first lost of the year.
Kobe Bryant And The Los Angeles Lakers Dominate Blazers!
Kobe Bryant was on fire last night and the rest of L.A.Lakers follwed his lead with great play. Kobe Bryant finished with a game high 23 pts 11 rebs. and 5 ast. The Portland Trail Blazers did not get much out Greg Oden in his NBA debut. Oden hurt his foot in the first quater and only manage to get 5 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers got great play out of Travis Outlaw he finished with 18,but the suprise of the came from Blazer Rudy Fernandez who finished with 16 pts. He was aggressive going to the basket and hit open shots.
Derrick Rose Solid In NBA Debut!
Derrick Rose was soild in his first NBA game with 11 pts. 9ast. and 3 stl. He also got Tyrus Thomas who finished respectfully with 15 pts and 11 reb. Luol Deng was consistant with 21 pts and 4 reb. The Chicago Bulls dominated the glass 42 to the Bucks 30. Ben Gordon chip 18 from off the bench. The Milwukee Buck are in for a long season Micheal Redd was the game leading with 30 pts. Richard Jefferson is going to have to pick up his scroing load for the Bucks to even contend in the improved Eastern Conference.
Andrew Bynum Return Has Lakers Favorites To Win It All
Last summer about 4 1/2 months ago the Los Angeles Lakers really needed big in the middle to help them win a championship since the Kobe Shaq era. Well that was last year and and that big I was talking about was Andrew Bynum. Many feel if Bynum was health the Los Angeles Lakers would have gave the Boston Celtics a run for their money. Andrew Bynum avg. 13.1 pts. 10.8 reb. and 1.7 ast. before his injury. The Lakers could have used those numbers last summer. Time will tell I can’t wait to see Andrew Bynum and the Los Angeles Lakers get back to the championship.
Besides the Detroit Pistons the New York Knicks has been one of my favorite teams. It was a sad day for Patrick Ewing Jr. fans yesterday. The club (New York Knicks) cut Ewing Jr. to finalize their team roster. They kept NBA journeyman Anthony Roberson because they felt he could help them out with shooting. I have nothing against that,but all I have to say is Patrick Ewing Jr. is an all-around player and could have them in many ways. He ( Ewing Jr.) will find his niche in the NBA he has a lot to offer team that needs his skill sets.
We all know that preseason does not give a true measure on how a team will perform during basketball season. The New Orleans Hornets are undefeated and I must say the big reason is Chris Paul. He’s scorched teams through the preseason avg. 21.1 pts, 11.8 and 2.7 steals a game. I think he’s still mad that he did not get the MVP.
Chris Paul On A Mission!
We saw what Chris Paul did last year throughout the seasson in the playoffs and with the Olympic Gold Medal Run. All that is good and dandy but I feel his mission this year is to establish himself as a premier player from know on. He was second to Kobe Bryant last year for MVP and was few buckets away for the western conference finals. Right now he’s in mid-season form with MVP type numbers that’s right tells me he’s a man on a mission.
The Leader!!
Some say leaders are born and some say leaders are made through struggle. I think Chris Paul fits in both categories. The summer of 2007 Chris found himself on outside looking in as the US won the tournament of Americas to qualify for the 2008 Olympics. He was also nursing an ankle injury, but there were still question can he lead a team or is he big enough. Well in 2007-08 NBA season he proved that he can lead a team and still play against the giants. Chris Paul is a born leader the struggle was only minor in his mind.
Hello Basketball Fans it’s your boy Basketball Tee and I’m so happy that basketball season is about to start. Since the last basketball game of the Olympics I have been in somewhat of a withdrawal from basketball. I was in some serious pain for some real live action, but I only re-runs on ESPN Classic watching Magic and Bird beat up on each other. My Jones is back October is here and that means pre-seasons basketball and happy until the season starts!!
FC Barcelona
This past weekend FC Barcelona was here in the US playing games against the Lakers,Clippers and Raptors. The games were great very competitive. I must say Spain has some real good basketball over there. Hell we don’t even need to look that far they have players in NBA now with the Gasol brothers Jose Calderon of Raptors. FC Barcelona has sent many players from their organization to play in the NBA.
The Greg Oden Report
Slowly but steady Greg Oden is getting his play legs back and is looking so far in the preseason and he is still my pick for the rookie of year (ROY). Greg will add much needed defense for the Portland Trail Blazers in the paint and rebounding. I feel he’s going to give the Portland fans a treat this season with a playoff berth.

Either way you put it Josh Howard made a huge mistake and should have known better because we all know it will be on YouTube. When you’re a high profile athlete like Josh Howard your awearness level has to be at a all-time high. I posted have video message about this video 22 hours ago and it 3′000 hits. What’s unique about the about the video is the comments section and the racism that was involved. Josh Howard cause proves just how much THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA has a long way to go. The response of hate people have against black people is crazy. America still has a long way to go and so does Josh Howard. As a people in this country we have failed on all levels and responding with negetivity is not the answer.

Yes we have free speech and expressing but are we really free as nation. The answer to that is HELL NO! Josh howard will probably apologize at the end of this month and will get booed every he goes this year and the country will still be devided with hate towards one another.

Hello basketball junkies and as always I have a basketball treat for you. I came across a great basketball story from a Utah news site that I think you’ll like. The NBA is known for breaking down barriers,but back in the late 40’s the New York Knick drafted a quick little guard from the University Of Utah. Also that year he helped Utah win the 1947 NCAA Championship.
Mr. Misaka It Not A Big Ideal
Well I don’t know about Mr Misaka but it’s a big to me. He said that he only played 3 of 5 games that played with the New York Knick. He the quote by Mr. Misaka in his own words: It wasn’t a big thing,” he said. “Nobody cared.”
He played in three of the season’s first five games, scoring seven points, and was then cut from the team.
